Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan participated in the “Stability and Security in the EU Eastern Neighborhood” conference in Brussels.

Touching upon Armenia’s European policy, Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan spoke about the opportunities provided by the Eastern Partnership Program. He welcomed the start of the discussions on the mandate of negotiations on the associated agreement with the EU. He said Armenia is preparing to start negotiations on free trade and simplification of the visa regime.

Mr. Kirakosyan presented the process of settlement of the Karabakh conflict and the latest developments in the normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations.

Arman Kirakosyan also participated in the roundtable organized by “European Friends of Armenia” NGO.
