Today RA President Robert Kocharyan received NATO General Secretary Special Representative for South Caucasus and Central Asia Robert Simons. Issues related to Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan were discussed. The parties appreciated the cooperation and stressed the necessity of developing a precise Partnership Action Plan, which would serve as basis for Armenia-NATO cooperation during the coming years.
The parties turned to NATO’s cooperation programs in South Caucasus and the process of reforms in the region.
Robert Simons said that NATO displays common attitude towards countries of the region. However, while planning its activities, NATO takes into consideration the specific realities in each country.
