Members of the Armenian Government traveled to Syunik marz to hold the recurrent sitting in Kapan. After the Marzpet presented a report, members of the government started discussing the regional issues on the agenda.

Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan presented the project of turning Tatev into a tourism center. The project envisages reconstruction of the Tatev Monastry in Syunik marz.

Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration Vache Terteryan presented the program of development of Syunik region in 2010-2013, which will promote the development of agriculture, industry and tourism.

Minister of Justice Gevorg Danielyan informed that the prisons in Goris are under the threat of collapse. He suggested to build a new jail outside the city.
